Being one of the first female pioneers in electronic dance music, ISIS aka 100% ISIS is now considered to be one of the worlds Top Ten female djs in the tech-house area.
Her deejay-sets can be best described as a refreshing adventure through the here and now of modern dance music. Her style is sparkling and unconventional. The industry sometimes categorizes Isis as a so-called tech-house deejay, but Isis herself defines her sets as: "a mixture of mainly electronical, repetitive dance music with a touch of minimal. The harmony within the individual tracks and the whole mix is my guideline". Also, her sets are characterized by various ethnical influences, for instance African, Eastern, Latin American and Dub.
Besides being a deejay and producer Isis also runs her own booking agency Magma, organises successful events and on top of that she has recently started her own label 'All is One' Records.

Bio:
Isis bought her first (house) record when she was 12 years old (1987). After two years of serious clubbing she started mixing. Very shortly after that she played at the legendary club RoXY on a regular basis, which has been the breakthrough of her professional career. Since that moment onwards Isis has grown to be a renowned name in the dance-scene, playing all over the world with tours in Europe, Central America, USA, South America , Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Over the years she has played at practically the entire gamut of quality clubs like The End (London), Cocoon (Frankfurt), RoXY (NL), Chemistry (NL), Amnesia (Ibiza), Space (Ibiza), Pacha (Ibiza), Rex (Paris), Tresor and E-werk (Berlin), Fuse (Brussels), Cafe D' Anvers (Antwerp), Space (Miami) and Opium Garden (Miami), to name a few.
Furthermore Isis played at festivals and parades such as Penguin Festival (F), Festival des Amplitudes (F), Dance Valley (NL), Mayday (D), New Frontier (NL), Love Parade (Berlin), FFWD Parade (Rotterdam), Love Parade (Tel Aviv), WMC (USA), Mysteryland (NL), Ultra Music Festival at WMC (USA), Atmosphere festival (B), Lovefields (NL), Torhout (B), Innercity Brussels (B), Shine Festival (NL), Impulz Outdoor (NL), Massive (NL), Glastonbury Festival (UK), Sensation (NL), Street Parade Zurich (CH), private Prince concert (Brussels).

Throughout her career Isis has been hosting and producing several successful club nights and events such as 'State of Bliss' and 'All is One'.
Additionally she has been involved in projects like WORLD EXPO 98 (Lisbon), Tokyo (400 years Holland/ Japan celebration), Holland Festival (John Cage songbooks live performance), Val Sinestra (CH), performances with classical composer Merlijn Twaalfhoven.
In 2004 and 2005 Isis has organised prominent events during the Amsterdam Museum Night at the Botanical Gardens and the Museum of Resistance.
Since 2003 'All is One' has yearly been invited to host an area at one of the main festivals of The Netherlands: Mystery Land, which has proven to be very prosperous given that 2006 was the 4th time 'All is One' presented at this huge event. Furthermore, in August 2006, 'All is One' invited Carl Craig to join Isis in a steamy sold out Paradiso. The oldest en most renowned club in Amsterdam.

Next to her agency Magma and her successful event 'All is One' Isis has founded her own label 'All is One' in October 2005. For 100% Isis a.k.a. Isis van der Wel this is a milestone in her career. The label 'All is One' builds a bridge between different genres like techno, house, ambient and experimental dance-music.
The first EP, containing tracks of Dimitri & Piet Jan Blauw, Gijs van Klooster & Tommy van Huystee and Frenchman Taho, has been a big hit in the underground scene of Holland and Germany. More releases are in the making, containing tracks of Isis & Piet Jan Blauw, Quazar and multitalented Egbert Jan Weeber.

In the past Isis has composed releases with French/Dutch producer Eric Nouhan.
Currently Isis is producing music with audiovisual artist Piet Jan Blauw. He is known for his mystical music and design. Their fruitful collaboration has led to a series of very diverse compositions and there first live performance is a fact. In 2007 Isis wants to concentrate more on doing live performances together with Piet jan Blauw in combination with a dj-gig.
