Over cesar zuiderwijk 
Cesar Zuiderwijk (born The Hague, Netherlands, 18 July 1948) is a Dutch drummer, who briefly drummed in an early incarnation of The Hague's blues/rock outfit Livin' Blues (1968-1970), but gained Dutch and later international prominence as the flamboyant drummer of Golden Earring, the internationally most succesful band to come out of The Netherlands.
With Golden Earring, Zuiderwijk enjoyed international chart success with singles such as Radar Love (1973), Twilight Zone (1982) and When The Lady Smiles (1984). In their home country Golden Earring had over 40 hits and made over 30 gold and platinum albums. They sold millions of albums worldwide, and are perhaps the oldest rock band in the world that is still performing throughout the year.
In the 1970s, Cesar Zuiderwijk became famous for his spectacular drum solos and jumps over his drum kit, most notably after his lengthy solo in the extended live version of Radar Love.
In 1985 Zuiderwijk recorded a self-titled album with a one-off project called Labyrinth, which also featured Dutch jazz musician Jasper van 't Hof and singer Julya Lo'ko.
Zuiderwijk still has plenty of non-Earring activities. He is a drum instructor at his own The Hague-based music institute, Music Station, and has extensively toured Dutch theatres with four shows full of 'stand-up drummedy': stories, sketches, drumming extravaganza. His first show, 'Alle gekheid met een stokje' (2000), was a co-production with percussion group, Percossa. It was followed by three succesful self-penned solo programmes: 'Slagdroom' (2006), 'Drumbonen & Kaneelstokken' (2009) and 'Trommelfruit' (2011).
